Our Thanks to St. Paul’s     Thank You, St. Paul’s and Rev. Sylvia   Fresh Start owes a debt of gratitude to Rev. Sylvia Vasquez, Reverend Robert Reynolds, Rev. Phil Brochard, Parish Administrator Pat Smith, the members of the Vestry, the members of the Outreach Committee, and all of the parishioners of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  During the first year of our existence, our “office” was a park bench behind the gazebo in Civic Park. It was fun to work there from April to October 1999, but the rains were due. Just in time, a member of St. Paul’s, Sue Phalen, heard about Fresh Start. She mentioned that St. Paul’s had a Fellowship House with three showers. Susan Prather knew it was meant to be. Thankfully, Reverend Reynolds and the members of the Vestry agreed. Fresh Start and  St. Paul’s help people improve and/or change their lives. At the very least, due to the generosity of the people of St. Paul’s, more than 70 people a week are showering, enjoying hot meals, doing laundry and getting some counseling, all due to the decision you made to allow Fresh Start to live at St. Paul’s. We thank you.
