"Rev. Robert Reynolds sounds like a wonderful man and he should be proud.  If ever anyone put their Christianity front and center it was him and the community at St. Paul's when they invited Fresh Start to live in their Fellowship House."

Dear Susan:
Happy Halloween!

I quick note to say hello and see how you are doing.  I am doing well; I am going to take the kids trick or treating tonight.  I am still in Montana and we had our first snow of the year.  I also got an accounting position (my trained profession) with a manufacturing company and really enjoying it.  I am getting back on my feet and I have you and Fresh Start to thank
for that.

I hope everyone at Fresh Start is doing well.  Please say hello to everyone for me.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers every day.

I have started to make local contacts with the community and have met some people on trying to bring something like Fresh Start to Montana.  I would enjoy any recommendations that you might have.  I did outline a model that I could send to you.

I would not be here today if it were not for you Susan.  Thanks for everything you did for me.
Love all of you at Fresh Start!
David

"I am a resident of Walnut Creek and my daughter and I would like to help out your wonderful organization if we can.  Her girl scout troop already does what they can through donations and we will be putting together toiletry bags as well this year but she and I would like to do more.  I feel you are one of the most important community resources out there on the front lines and I would like to do what I can in support...  In my younger days I was homeless due to addictions and I know first hand the isolation and the seemingly insurmountable obstacles to getting yourself back on track. I live such a fulfulled life now with 14 years recovery and a wonderful job and family and I wish that same trajectory for everyone.  My daughter is 7 and I realize she may be too young to effectively help out but please let me know if there are things I can do - either from my home or at your center in the evenings/weekends."

"Take care and please know how much the community does appreciate you! You extended your hand and helped out my friend (who was living in my garage) and now she gets social security, has a room in a house and was able to keep her cats which are her loves.  And that's just one person but every action has a ripple effect doesn't it?!?!?!
Cheers!"
